Phase I Archeological Survey of Line 3007 for the Southwestern Power Administration (SWPA), Arkansas.

The Ottery Group is conducting an archeological survey for the approximately 44-mile length of Transmission Line 3007, starting in Independence County and ending in Craighead County, Arkansas.

The project consists of identification-level survey and evaluation of identified sites within the SWPA rights-of-way using a no-collection strategy. The Southwestern Power Authority (SWPA) operates and maintains 1,380 miles of electrical transmission lines and substations, largely in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

The Ottery Group has completed several archeological surveys associated with planned utility corridor upgrades for SWPA over the past several years.
